Smokey Tofu and Veg
Oh baby, do I have a good one for you today! This is one of my classic, “What the heck am I going to make tonight?!” meals.
You know what I’m talking about, right? Those nights when dance practice goes late, or you’re rushing to a volunteer meeting but you just need FOOD. Yeah, those nights.

Allergy Friendly, Vegan “Boo”-Berry Bars
Class parties and potlucks – a Food Allergy Family’s Nightmare. Or is It?

Marinated Tofu
You’re in for a treat today! I’ve got my favorite tofu marinade for you.
This is a bit of a fun one because it’s very easy to manipulate. I’m going to give you some general parameters, then a bunch of tips to make it perfect for your tastebuds.

Ghastly Ghosts Craft
We are really going all out for Halloween this year, and I just can’t get over these cute little ghosts we made the other day!

5 Favorite Breakfasts
Breakfast - the most important meal of the day! It also happens to be my favorite meal of the day.
Dairy and eggs always seem to be at the forefront of people’s thoughts for their morning meal and eliminating those either by choice or because of allergies can cause a lot of stress.

Celebrating Halloween with Food Allergies
We are just a little over two weeks until one of our favorite holidays: Halloween. This is a bit of a tricky one because obviously one of the best parts of the night is going door to door showing off your costume in exchange for candy.
Candy. Great! Perfect activity for a house that has gluten and sugar intolerance and nut allergies.

Spooky Spider Craft
It’s spooky season! Kiddo and I were thrilled to walk through Michael’s and pick out supplies to decorate the house.
She loves Halloween and loves to decorate so this was a great activity to get her involved in the process.

5 Go to Snacks
Do you ever find yourself scrambling through the pantry trying to find something to eat? Snacking is perfectly normal, but where it can really frustrate people is not having things on hand or getting stuck in a rut.

Gluten-Free, Vegan Pumpkin Spice Muffins
Over here in Minnesota, fall is in full swing. The leaves are changing and it’s a balmy 43 degrees and raining this morning. Not my preferred weather (give me 80s and sun all day every day!), but it does leave me yearning for all things warm and comforting.

Kids Craft - DIY Signs
I haven’t talked about it too much on here yet, but we’ve been homeschooling since 2019 and it has been the absolute best decision we could have made for Kiddo’s education.
We’ve been able to take the time to figure out how she learns best which when reading is involved and we settled on the Build Your Library curriculum which has been great. They do include art, but it’s mostly along the lines of history and my 9 year old still loves craft projects.
