About pages are such a funny thing to write. Who am I? Well, I’m a wife to my amazing husband and a mother to my spunky nine year old daughter. Simple enough, right? No, I’m so much more than that.

My path in life hasn’t been what I expected. I started out pursuing audio engineering and was 95% through my program when I switched over to early education. I finished that degree and ended up with the most amazing job I could ask for.

Teaching and learning is a passion of mine. There are few greater things in life than watching a child try to figure something out and finally succeed. It’s a beautiful thing!

However, a few years into my career, a family member opened a business and approached me to run the operations side of things. Thus began a career in sales and marketing.

Things were all fine and dandy… until my daughter was born. One look at that sweet, squishy face and I knew there had to be a better path.

It took a few years, but in 2019 I finally quit my job to stay home with my kiddo. While I still work doing freelance marketing, these days I’m putting my degree to good use and we’re entering our fifth year of homeschool.

One of the benefits of learning at home is being able to incorporate life skills. My daughter is participating in remodel projects, building things, chores, cooking, and more.
